SA Node (Sinoatrial Node)
The heart's natural pacemaker — it sends electrical signals that start each heartbeat. It sits at the top of the right atrium.
AV Node (Atrioventricular Node)
A relay station that slows the signal slightly, giving the atria time to finish pumping blood into the ventricles before they contract.
Ventricles
The pumping chambers that push blood to your body (left ventricle) and lungs (right ventricle). They are the strongest part of the heart!
♥ Fun Fact: Your heart beats about 100,000 times per day — that's over 36 million times a year!
